Mr. Nudo became a principal of Marc Realty in 1990 and has served as Senior Vice President overseeing the acquisitions, dispositions, and financings for Marc Realty portfolio. Prior to joining Marc Realty, he was a prominent and successful mortgage banker in Chicago and served as a director for three publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trusts. Mr. Nudo is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Illinois and is a Certified Public Accountant. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University in 1971 and his M.B.A. degree from the University of Chicago in 1973.
Mr. Weiner co-founded Marc Realty in 1976 with his brother Laurence Weiner and has served as a principal and as Senior Vice President overseeing and directing the leasing for the office and retail portfolio. Mr. Weiner is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Illinois. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Administration of Criminal Justice from the University of Illinois in 1972.
Mr. Weiner co-founded Marc Realty in 1976 with his brother Elliot Weiner and has served as a principal and as President overseeing the Company’s operating activities. He is a registered Attorney (Loyola University, 1983) and Certified Public Accountant (1979). He graduated with High Honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Champaign, Illinois.
Mr. Ruttenberg is Director of Acquisitions and Investments for Marc Realty Capital, LLC (MRC) where he is a principal and member of the Investment Committee. David has been responsible for sourcing over $1 Billion of properties and notes for MRC and oversees the investment process. Prior to MRC, David was an advisor to and partner in several real estate investment enterprises at which his function was property evaluation, financial analysis, sourcing and managing equity and debt financing, property management, purchasing, leasing and due diligence.
Mr. Ruttenberg graduated from Tufts University with a BA in Quantitative Economics (2003), graduating summa cum laude while leading the Varsity tennis team as captain and All-American. He received a Master of Science in Real Estate Economics and Finance from the London School of Economics (2004), graduating with the highest distinction honors.
Mr. Portes joined Marc Realty Capital in 2014 as a financial analyst. Prior to joining MRC, Matthew was the Director of Alternative Investments at National Securities Corporation, a publicly traded, independent securities broker dealer.
Mr. Portes graduated from the University of Illinois in 1996 with a BA in History. He received his MBA in Finance and Marketing in 2004 from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Mr. Hills joined Marc Realty Capital in 2013 as an investment analyst and is now Director of Investments. Eric had previously been a senior associate at Hilco, a financial services company that specializes in valuation, advisory, monetization, and liquidation. Mr. Hills graduated from Indiana University with a BA in Accounting and Finance. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
Charles Gibbs is the Vice President of National Acquisitions. He leads Marc Realty Capital’s acquisitions efforts outside of Chicago, and in that role is primarily responsible for uncovering and underwriting investment opportunities for MRC and its operating partners. Prior to joining MRC, Mr. Gibbs was an investment sales broker at Sperry Van Ness, focusing on the listing and sale of retail, mixed-use, and multifamily property. Before developing a career in real estate, Mr. Gibbs was an attorney at the law firm of Perkins Coie LLP, representing clients in matters related to bankruptcy, insolvency, and corporate restructuring. Charles obtained his J.D. from the University of Illinois, where he graduated summa cum laude, Order of the Coif. He also holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. Mr. Gibbs is a member of the Chicago Association of Realtors, the International Council of Shopping Centers, and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
Mr. Mendes joined Marc Realty Capital in 2014 as an Associate Vice President of Acquisitions. Brice had previously been employed by Marcus and Millichap, focusing on the acquisition and disposition of retail and net leased assets. Mr. Mendes graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Economy and Industry (2012).
Mr. Jensen joined Marc Realty Capital in 2014 as a senior level accountant and is now the Director of Accounting. Joe had previously been a senior level accountant at FirstService Residential. Mr. Jensen graduated from Robert Morris University with a BA in Accounting and received a Master of Science in Taxation degree from Northern Illinois University.
Mr. Walsh joined Marc Realty Capital as the Director of Operations and Asset Management. Prior to joining MRC, Damian was a partner in several real estate investment entities focusing on acquiring distressed assets in multiple states (AZ, TN, OR and PA), where he was involved in all facets of the investment cycle from evaluation and acquisition to management and disposition. Mr. Walsh graduated from Colgate University in 1992 with a B.A. in Economics and is a native of Pittsburgh, PA.
Mrs. Graff joined Marc Realty Capital in November 2016, after deciding to make the transition from political consulting. Mrs. Graff brings a unique perspective and valuable set of skills to the role of Associate Vice President of Acquisitions. Prior to her work as a political consultant, Mrs. Graff graduated from DePaul University with a degree in Political Science.
Chikoo Patel is the Vice President of Multifamily Acquisitions; he leads Marc Realty Capital’s apartments and condominium development investment efforts in Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Prior to joining MRC, Mr. Patel was an commercial broker at @properties Commercial where he spearheaded multifamily brokerage while developing residential real estate in the city of Chicago and surrounding suburbs. His pride in work has led to multiple Chicago Association of Realtor Good Neighbor Awards as well as a nomination for the coveted Bruce Abrams Award.
Chikoo obtained his bachelor’s in Finance from the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago & is currently a CFA Level III Candidate.
